SYS Sister Sounds is back in Hanoi and throwing our first Pho The Girls event for the year in Feb with a very special guest PLLOW from Brussels.

We’ve got GRL Gangs around the globe and PLLOW is an avid supporter of what we do at SYS! We are so excited to have her in Hanoi. From playing Afropunk Paris to Dour Festival, PLLOW will get you grooving on the dance-floor.

Get ready for a night of anything goes, filled with Hip Hop, Soul, RNB, Disco and Afrobeats.

Maggie Tra will also be spinning on the eve as well, so don’t miss the reunion!

PLLOW

Fierce, fiery and full of flavour, PLLOW is a Cameroonian/Belgian DJ and Co-founder of the Brussels-based management agency Bloom Hill. PLLOW was born to deliver mind-blowing experiences on the dance floors within her sets. She instantly pricks the ears of her audiences with her eclectic selections and is always looking for unique sonorities. She effortlessly shows off her versatility as she embraces a variety of melodies and rhythms with her no-nonsense attitude. Her musical influences range from Afro Rhythms, Percussions, Broken Rhythmics and Electric Bassy Sounds.

A hint of sweet with a dash of spice spell-bounding smooth selector Maggie Tra hails from Sydney, Australia. Whilst relatively new to the scene, Maggie uses the world as her playground. Maggie’s DJ sets brings finesse and flair to the dance-floor. Whether she’s spinning Hip Hop, Soul and R&B tunes, the emerging DJ is a true artist that is dedicated to her craft.

SYS Sister Sounds is a community built to empower and push women and non-binary people in the creative and music industry. The core aim of the organisation is to encourage and uplift women in the music industry through radio shows, workshops and interviews with women and non-binary people globally.
