The Aquafina Vietnam International Fashion Week Fall/Winter selection kicked off in Hanoi Saturday with a Best Street Style show, with the fashion week itself running until Thursday, Vietnam News has reported.
Trang Tien Plaza provided the catwalk for the opening day, with the best dressed award going to Nguyen Phuong, a 2016 participant in Vietnam’s Next Top Model, as well as to model Vu Nhat Anh, with both wearing vampish black outfits, with lots of leather touches, perhaps a preamble for Halloween.
The award for best hairstyles went to Vu Thục Chinh and Vio Ho.
The fashion week aims to show case leading Vietnamese design talents alongside the best Asian and international fashion design with a focus on “edgy, avant-garde and progressive designers.
The main events will take place at the Vietnam National Convention Centre in Pham Hung Street.
