Vietnam records no new Covid-19 cases Thursday night

No new cases of the coronavirus were registered in Vietnam on Thursday evening, Vietnam News has reported. The national tally of cases remains at 268.

On Thursday morning one new case was confirmed, a 16-year-old girl from the Hmong minority in a remote village in Dong Van District of Ha Giang Province in north Vietnam.

A total of 176 of Vietnam’s 268 Covid-19 cases have now recovered and been released from hospital after successful treatment.

The coronavirus has now infected over 2 million people in over 200 countries and regions worldwide, killing over 138,000 people.
