Vietnam confirms 36 new coronavirus cases Sunday night

Vietnam confirmed 36 new cases of Covid-19 Sunday evening, including 17 community infections, according to Vietnam News.

Four of the community infections were in Hanoi, three in Quang Ninh Province, one in Hai Duong Province and one in Binh Duong Province.

Hanoi has reported a total 13 cases, all linked to Hai Duong Province, the country’s biggest coronavirus hotspot during the current outbreak.

On Saturday the country registered 62 new cases, with 61 one of them community infections.

Vietnam has now had a total of 1,817 cases, including 1,457 recoveries and 35 deaths.

The virus has infected more than over 102 million people worldwide, killing over 2.25 million.
