Self-Defense Workshop Beginners

For years Head Coach Phu has been an advocate for self-defense and has run many workshops in the Tay Ho area, as well as currently running a program for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

In his years of working in high-level security positions including presidential assignments, along with his license to deliver martial arts training in Vietnam, he is highly qualified and experienced to deliver effective and interesting workshops regarding self-defense.

We are pleased and proud to offer this workshop for anyone and everyone who is interested in developing not only the skills required but the mindset to confidently defend themselves if needed.

This workshop not only teaches simple but highly effective actions in counter-attacks but also educates in the Five Principles of Self Defense, the legal ramifications of self-defense in Vietnam, and how to make personal security a way of life.

Workshop Agenda:
– What is self-defense?
– The Five Principles of Self-Defense
– Self-Defense and the law in Vietnam
– Training in grab and hold releases, and conflict de-escalation

Included in the price of the workshop:
– 2.5 hours of training with Head Coach, Phu.
– A copy of the course workbook (available in English and Vietnamese)

Workshop Price:
Early Bird Tickets – purchased in full at least 24 hours before the workshop – VND 250,000
Pay on the day – VND 450,000

We accept payment by cash or card in the center, or via bank transfer (domestic accounts only). Booking terms and conditions apply. The early bird price is only guaranteed once the ticket has been paid for in full.

Private workshops can be arranged for groups of 6 or more either at the center or at a location of your choice.
