Many people returning from areas in China that have been affected by the coronavirus will be quarantined when they arrive in Vietnam, DTI News has reported. Around 950 people will be isolated at two field hospitals in Xuan Mai and Son Tay for 14 days.

Any individual that exhibits fever or other symptoms will be transported to specialized hospitals for treatment. Vehicles will be sent to Noi Bai and Van Don international airports to transfer the people to the field hospitals.

Vietnam confirmed its ninth coronavirus case on Tuesday

There have been two deaths due to the virus outside of mainland China so far, one in the Philippines and one in Hong Kong.
