16 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Vietnam

Vietnam recorded 16 new community cases of Covid-19 Sunday evening, its highest number in over a week, according to the Ministry of Health.
In the north, hotspot Hai Duong Province registered 12 locally-transmitted cases. In the south, Tay Ninh and Dong Thap Provinces registered three and one cases, respectively, at the border.
On the same day 32 patients across the country were reported to have recovered.
Since the latest wave started on Jan. 27, Vietnam has registered more than 850 new cases, 533 of which are active.
Worldwide, over 114 million people have been infected with the virus so far, including 2.53 million deaths.
