Vietnam confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus on Thursday night, according to Vietnam News.
The cases included four in central Gia Lai Province, two in Quang Ninh Province, one in Hai Duong, one in Binh Duong Province and one in the capital, Hanoi.
The country has now has 1,957 cases of Covid-19, including 1,465 recoveries and 35 deaths.
Worldwide there have been almost 105 million people infected with the virus, with approximately 2.3 million deaths.
