1 Hanoi case among 11 new coronavirus patients confirmed Sunday night

Vietnam registered 11 new cases of Covid-19 Sunday evening: eight from Danang, two from overseas and one from Hanoi, Vietnam News has reported. One of the cases was a two-month-old baby girl.
The national total of cases now stands at 962, including 456 recoveries.
Nine patients were also given the all clear, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.
The baby girl lives in the same apartment as a 30-year old-male patient in Danang who lives in Thanh Xuan District. He started showing symptoms on Aug. 3.
The imported cases were both Vietnamese citizens recently flown home from Japan.
A total of over 107,000 people are currently being quarantined in Vietnam, either in hospitals, medical centers or at home.
Twenty-four people have lost their lives in Vietnam due to coronavirus complications so far.
Covid-19 has infected more than 21.5 million people worldwide in over 200 countries and regions, killing over 771,000.
