No new cases; 1 Covid-19 death confirmed

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control stated that there was no new cases of Covid-19 this morning, Vietnamplus has reported

The Ministry of Health also confirmed its 30th Covid-19 related death, yet another patient with existing medical issues. The 51-year-old patient passed away this morning due to septic shock, multi-organ failure, heart failure and coronavirus.

Currently, the nation’s coronavirus case tally is at 1,034 with 632 recoveries. Among the rest who were quarantined, when tested for nCoV,  41 people’s results came back as negative once, 52 twice, and 51 three times.

Since July 25, when the reemergence ò the virus started in Danang – the nation’s epidemic hotspot – there have been 514 cases linked to the coastal city, of 654 cases in total.

Worldwide, the death toll has reached over 829,000, infecting over 22 million people.
