Hanoi closes bars, clubs, and karaoke

The People’s Committee of Hanoi requires all karaokes, discotheques, and bars in the city to suspend operations from midnight Feb. 1 to limit the spread of Covid-19 until further notice, according to Lao Dong News.
In Hanoi, there appeared to be community cases with complicated traveling history, thus, the risk of the virus spreading is very high.
Hanoi has now recorded 15 new cases in the community over the latest outbreak. Medical units have urgently investigated and zoned all locations related to the cases.
It is recommended that individuals and organizations minimize large gatherings when not needed. The city requires all karaokes, clubs, and bars to stop operating from midnight on Feb. 1.
Restaurants and cafes must apply measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic. This includes regularly disinfecting surfaces, providing hand-sanitizers, and staff wearing masks.
