Vietnam confirmed 19 new cases of coronavirus on Friday night, according to Vietnam News.
The cases include one in Hanoi, 12 in Hai Duong Province, two in Quang Ninh Province, three in Dien Bien and one in Ha Giang.
The country has now has 1,976 cases of Covid-19, including 1,465 recoveries and 35 deaths.
Worldwide there have been almost 105 million people infected with the virus, with approximately 2.3 million deaths.
