Vietnam registered one more Covid-19 case on Tuesday, a man who had arrived in the country from Russia, taking the national coronavirus tally to 373, according to VN Express.
The man, 53, is from Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem District and flew in to Can Tho City last Thursday, where he was immediately quarantined, the report said.
He is receiving treatment at Ca Mau General hospital after testing positive on Sunday.
Vietnam has now registered 373 cases of the coronavirus in total, with no deaths recorded. Twenty-one of the cases are classified as ‘active.’
For 89 days the country has not recorded a single case of domestic transmission of the virus.
Covid-19 has infected over 13 million people worldwide in over 200 countries and regions, leading to over 573,000 deaths.
Vietnam has been widely praised for its strong response to the virus.
