Hanoi finds and quarantines 5 illegal Chinese immigrants

Authorities in Hanoi’s Hoang Mai District have found, and tested 5 illegal Chinese immigrants for coronavirus before sending them to Hanoi Police Hospital for quarantine, according to VTV.
During a meeting of Hanoi’s Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control held on Jan.7, the Hoang Mai district representative said the that when the five immigrants were found they all were wearing facial masks and showing no unusual symptom such as coughing or fever.
Eight new cases of Covid-19 were found in Hanoi between Dec. 30 and Jan. 7., all foreigners who had recently entered the country. Hanoi has had a total of 198 cases of Covid-19 positive, with no deaths, and has went 143 consecutive days without any new cases within the community.
