More than 100 people discovered to have illegally entered Vietnam from China

Tra Linh Border Guard Station (Cao Bang Border Guard Command) on Dec. 27 and 28 uncovered 106 cases of illegal entry from China into Vietnam, according to Bao Ve Phap Luat.
At about 4 a.m. on Dec. 27, Tra Linh Border Guard Station discovered 86 Vietnamese people who illegally entered Vietnam from China earlier in the year and in 2019. They detected a further 20 more on Dec. 28.
“We conducted a medical examination of all 86 citizens discovered on Dec. 27 and 20 citizens today and put them in quarantine in line with regulations,” the leader of Tra Linh Border Guard Station said.
All the persons who illegally entered Vietnam from China through the Tra Linh area (Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province) are from 15 to over 50 years old. They claimed to illegally have left China to work as hired labor across the border in Lang Son, Quang Ninh and Ha Giang provinces between Feb 2019 to May 2020.
